Coronavirus swept through Vereeniging Police Station leading to the closure of the cop centre. The station will be reopened on Saturday after undergoing deep cleaning and sanisation exercises on Thursday and Friday.
This followed after two employees tested positive for COVID 19.
The Community Service Centre shall in the meantime operate from the Loss Management Offices flat no 8 at the Old Married Quarters just behind the police station.
Members of the community are advised to call 10111 for emergencies which need to be attended to by Vereeniging police.
