Economic Freedom Fighter Commander In Chief Julius Malema made a passionate appeal to President Cyril Ramaphosa to close schools as some of the contingent measures to slow the spread of Covid.
Responding to President Ramaphosa’ s last night address to the nation where he introduced curfew and banned alcohol, Malema said closing down of schools would have been a step in the right direction to arrest the rapid infection rate.
“Chief please close schools, I’m asking you nicely@CyrilRamaphosa,” read part of Malema’s twit, “Comprador, think of our kids.”
He also took a swipe at Ramaphosa for ignoring his initial advice to maintain a ban on alcohol.
“I won’t congratulate you on alcohol because I warned you, but you choose to listen to white capital & look now,” said Malema.
Malema added that South Africans were reaping what they voted for.
“Anywhere they deserve you as their President because they voted you,” he added
