A Vaal man who underwent a quarantine process at Sebokeng Regional Hospital has been placed on a 14 days self-isolation at home awaiting results.
Hospital authorities said they were now waiting for his results of tests which were sent to National Institute of Communicable Diseases (NICD)
The man was discharged after showing no signs of the new Corona Virus (Covid-19).
Last week, Sebokeng Hospital’s CEO Makibiti Madolo confirmed the man who recently came in from abroad was under quarantine at the hospital.
The man allegedly ran away from being tested for the novel coronavirus after coming into the country. He was traced through his phone to a store in Henley on Klip.
Madolo said the community had no reason to be alarmed, as the necessary precautions were taken.
